Our vision is to join with you to  see the prayer of Jesus answered. 

Unity doesn't happen without you. The issues plaguing the DFW metroplex are complex and multi-layered and the needle is not moving. The Church is well equipped to tackle these complexities and all of their dynamics. But it's going to require  working together. Leaders like you who pastor people or lead Christian organizations possess incredible potential to advance God's Kingdom in the DFW area.

Movement | DFW is accelerating the commitment to change the trajectory of the next generation leaving the church and faith by joining forces with, what is considered to be, the most dynamic Next Generation mission operating on the global Christian landscape.

On January 1, 2024, Movement | DFW became the DFW Initiatives of The NXT Move. With its exceptional leadership, unique resources, global influencers, and significant ministry partnerships, NXT Move will bring to the NOW DFW initiative the muscularity to generate significant impact.

Youth leaders across DFW have enthusiastically acknowledged the desire to work together to address the issue of millions of young people walking away from the church and their faith. NXT Move stands ready to come beside Churches and youth organizations in DFW to carry this mission forward.

The NXT Move is excited about the opportunity to enhance the amazing work that Movement | DFW has initiated. The NXT Move is committed to making DFW the cornerstone of its U.S. mission. The unique research and the strategic advances already in place allow DFW to become a laboratory that can influence the entire globe.

Mark Alexander

Mark Alexander is the Director of DFW Initiatives for NXT Move, previously serving as Executive Director of Movement | DFW before it merged with NXT Move in 2024. He is dedicated to uniting the Church and Christian community to support the next generation's spiritual journey. Before this role, Mark was CFO at Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and has a substantial background in the technology and software industry. He has served on the boards of NXT Move, First Texoma Bank, and Literacy Achieves. Mark and his wife Julie are members of Watermark Community Church in Dallas, Texas, and have three children and seven grandchildren.

Miguel Faundez

Miguel Faundez is the Director of DFW Community Engagement, with over 20 years of experience in youth ministry across Latin America and the USA. He is dedicated to making the church relevant to new generations and training pastors and youth leaders worldwide. Miguel has served as a local church pastor and collaborated with various organizations focused on reaching the next generation. He holds an MBA in Project Management from Dallas Baptist University. Miguel is married to Paulina, and they have two children, Benjamin and Florencia, living in the DFW area of Texas.
